No. Rent comes from the county's Housing Support Program. If a resident gains employment, a portion of the rent may be the residents responsibility.
Residents can stay with Underdog Recovery Homes for up to 12 months. Although residents sign a 12-month lease when admitted, the lease is month to month.
Yes! As long as you meet the states requirements, you can still receive them. If you are not receiving benefits, staff will help you sign up when admitted to our program. If you gain employment, that may affect the amount you receive.
Yes, in fact we encourage residents to find employment while residing with us. Overnights are not permitted.
For the first seven days, residents must be accompanied by an approved resident if going out. After that residents are allowed to take day passes.
For the first 30 days, overnight passes are not allowed. After that, if a resident does all his required weekly tasks, they are allowed 1 night (Friday or Saturday) per week. 24- 48 hr notice must be given.
